Yesterday Elizabeth had a check up with her ear, nose, and throat specialist (ENT). She also had an appointment with an Audiologist to check her hearing for the first time since having her 2nd ear tube surgery and adenoidectomy in August. (She had her first set of ear tubes put in a little over 2 years ago.)
The audiologist said that her hearing is perfect which is good because before the first ear tubes were put in and after those had fallen out, she was getting fluid build up in her ears which was affecting her hearing.
She is also doing very well with the ear tubes. No more ear infections every month. I think I might forget she has them if she didn't have to wear ear plugs when she takes a bath. She is doing great!
