Day 1 of Hubby's Layoff

Is actually not that bad.....
His job called him last night at around 7:00 to ask him is he was available to come in at midnight. (Midnight is his usual shift time. It's not his favorite time of day, but it enables him to be home in the morning when I have to leave for school.)
After he got that phone call, I could tell that his mood was immediately lifted, and he wasn't that worried anymore, well at least for one day anyway. But this still gives us a little hope that perhaps he will be getting called to come in.
